NBC renews The Sing-Off for a holiday run, Myst may be turned into a series, and Amazon is stepping up the new and interesting ideas with movies on streaming. Google is working on huge TVs, Redbox Instant Streaming is no more, and Mozilla is lighting up the Matchstick. Netflix is spending big money on broadcast shows, and ones that haven’t even premiered yet. Has streaming war truly begun, with Hulu Plus, Amazon, and Netflix all sharing that they got exclusive rights to certain shows? TiVo brings back memories, and announces a new DVR for those that don’t have a cable subscription. WEtv is bringing us Sex Box from the UK. It’s another snarky episode of That TV Show! We said goodbye to the voice of Saturday Night, Don Pardo, this week. The Emmys are on a Monday, VMAs on Sunday, and The Doctor returns on Saturday.
